The Dot C.O.M. ("dot Computer Optimised Measure") concept allows us to calibrate the size of tread dots according to their position on the tread surface. The dots are smaller in the centre (for less rolling resistance) and larger towards the sides (for better grip), giving a tyre that is fast on the straight and safe in bends.
