Tommasini VLC2 Custom Carbon Fibre Frame

TOMMASINI ITALIAN PRODUCTION CUSTOM TUBING VLC2 is the latest evolution of the Velocista, realized with Tommasini project and Italian made tubing. VLC2 has the declared goal to create a carbon fibre frame for whom has to ride it, in fully respect of customer’s own body measurements and cycling fitting: VLC2 is therefore a carbon fibre frame perfectly CUSTOM GEOMETRY built for the rider! VLC2 looks like a monocoque frame, but it is not, and it is important this difference because it can be customized in sizes and angles. VLC2 is not originated by a single mold, but it is created with carbon fibre tubing made of different exclusive shapes that have been modeled under Tommasini directions for his collection. Many news on VLC2 for 2010-2011 season: Top Tube and Down Tube with enlarged diameters; Tapered Head Tube 1-1/8” top and 1-1/2” bottom; FKTOS fork for 1-1/2” head set; Integrated Seat Tube, but also available with traditional length; Internal Cable Routing on top tube …and the “pearl” is the new bottom bracket named BB OVER ø 60: an enlarger bottom bracket with a 60mm. diameter, a pure invention of Irio Tommasini, that has the exclusivity to be assembled both with Italian and English threading. BB OVER ø 60 is realized in aluminum covered with carbon fibre, and it is externally pantograph on both sides. VLC2 with all the above details conquers an aggressive and modern style, and furthermore it ensures an humongous bicycle stability and stiffness for impressive performances. The T-Flight Custom Tommasini rear triangle and the personalized aluminum rear replaceable dropouts are an original Tommasini patent, born by another original idea of Irio Tommasini. The masterpiece is completed with a brand new paint design, named “serie 43”, that is tent to enlighten all the technical details of the VLC2, and that also confer an aerodynamic and penetrating look to the bicycle.
